Known as “ The Breakfast Club for teachers” this poignant and funny drama chronicles a group of public school teachers that have all landed themselves in the disciplinary limbo that is the “rubber room,” a reassignment center housed in an empty office in the Department of Ed. building, while they await their fate. After a claim of improper behavior by a failing student condemns Evelyn Reid to join them, they all wind up forming an unlikely alliance and passing the whole school year sharing secrets, rediscovering passions, searching their souls, and bonding over the utterly unique experience that is being a public school teacher.
